Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 4AM Tech IO Private Limited (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use Mr WhatsApp at https://mrwhatsapp.com. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and profile photo from Google Sign-In.
• WhatsApp session data: the encrypted login session of the WhatsApp account you link (stored on our server so sending works while you are offline), your WhatsApp number and display name.
• Customer data you upload: phone numbers and names in your contact lists, your message templates, and message status (sent, delivered, read, replied, opted out).
• Payment data: plan, amount, Razorpay order and payment IDs. Card/UPI/bank details are collected and processed directly by Razorpay. We never see or store them.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and logs needed for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use information

• To provide the Service: send your scheduled messages, show analytics and generate reports.
• To process payments and maintain billing records as required by law.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms.
• To contact you about your account, payments or important changes.

We do not sell your data or your contacts’ data, and we do not message your contacts on our own behalf.

3. Your contacts’ data

For phone numbers you upload, you are the data fiduciary and we act as your data processor. You confirm that you collected these numbers lawfully and have consent to message them. Opt-out replies are recorded so those numbers are not messaged again.

4. Sharing

• Razorpay: to process payments.
• Google: for sign-in.
• WhatsApp/Meta: messages you send travel through WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
• Hosting provider: our servers are hosted on a VPS provider.
• Authorities: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete contacts, campaigns and reports anytime. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for tax and legal purposes.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, secure cookies and isolated server storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, export (Excel) or delete your data from your dashboard, or write to us to exercise your rights, withdraw consent or raise a grievance.
